I have been doing 30 minutes of cardio a day on a elliptical machine for 2 months, I'm trying to lose excess fat and show my abs put im not getting anywhere. I eat well, barely any carbs, veg, balanced diet etc. should I carry on or is there more or something else I need to do to get rid of my fat?

Replacing Body Fat
by: Pat

While cardio is important for burning immediate calories, strength training is a critical part of burning body fat and replacing it with lean muscle.

The new muscle you add from strength training will help you burn extra calories every day...even when you're not working out. Taking the time to add strength training to your cardio workout plan can be one of the best ways to improve your body tone.
