Benefits of Lemon Water

Drink Hot Lemon Water Every Morning. When you crawl out of bed all bleary-eyed and sluggish, your first thought is probably to hunt down a strong dose of caffeine. But, try foregoing your morning java and instead begin your day with a soothing mug of hot lemon water. The benefits are amazing, especially when taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It can:


* Balance your body's PH (lemons are one of the most alkalizing foods you can eat)

* Stimulate your digestive system

* Purify your liver and help flush out toxins

* Support your immune system

* Improve your body's ability to absorb nutrients

* Help prevent urinary tract infections

* May encourage weight loss

Squeeze the juice from 1/4-1/2 lemon into a mug and add hot water.

Lemon peel contains a lot of nutrients so, for extra benefits, grate some of the zest into your drink as well. Enjoy!
