cobra/sphinx pose for a long time period

I have lower back pain and I sometimes do a cobra/sphinx pose for a long time period - reading a book, etc.

My question is this ok for my back?

Hi Myrna - I apologize, but we are not qualified to make comments on what someone should do when they have an injury or a related problem. The best advice I can give you is to see your physician for the best advice regarding stretching and exercises to help you.
